Description
This is the second in a series of large drawings about the place I will always call home; Somerset in the UK.
A trip back in 2024 resulted in the desire to capture what I love most about the place, the soft undulations of hill folding into hill, folding down to vale.
The morning hike started out with a thick fog bejewelling the hedgerow cobwebs and coating the meadows in dew. By the time lunchtime came around I found myself at the bottom of a vale, with a warm sunshine glittering over the surface of a small meandering brook.
The skies crown each composition, scudding clouds beckoning the viewer to enter the scene.
